Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley Key Phone's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed an exclusive key case to commemorate the brand's centennial. It is made of Dark stained Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a flying "B" paperweight, keys, and an original 1930s booklet that features never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

As a design-oriented company Bentley takes its aesthetics extremely seriously. It is evident in the precise positioning of its quilting and the use of leather that is made from cattle by-products and sustainable managed forests, and the unique patterns of its levers. As you approach a car like the Continental GT W12, its stunning design is accentuated by carefully curated lighting.

The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top car. Its rear tonneau for instance, displayed the largest piece of book-matched, dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to the production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

It is this unique design, quality and attention to detail that have established Bentley as the most sought-after automobile brand. The firm continues to push the boundaries by utilizing the most advanced technology and workmanship, such as the introduction of a digital instrument cluster with an electric tilt-opening back glass sunroof, a custom-designed docking station for Apple iPads, and electrochromic "smart" glass that can be changed between opaque and transparent at the touch of one button.

Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in the year 2019 100 years after the marque was founded. The marque, currently owned by Volkswagen alone following years of conflict with BMW and Volkswagen, had planned a number of special events and launches to commemorate this significant occasion. Design

Bentley is a luxury car manufacturer that makes ostentatious and luxurious cars. But even the keys make a statement. The Bentayga key is made from sterling silver. Bentley Mulliner reinvented and designed the Mulsanne to become the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. It has two opposing pairs of rear seats that are modelled on luxury private aircraft offering passengers unbeatable comfort and privacy. A customized heating, ventilation and air conditioning system was designed to provide each passenger with the ideal temperature control.

The Mulsanne features a twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine that produces 560bhp and 479lb-ft torque. This powerhouse is complemented by a brand new suspension design that offers Bentley's signature hushed ride.

In celebration of its Centenary, bentley key usb introduced a bespoke specification called the Centenary Specification for vehicles built in 2019. The cabin has cross-stitching, and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings on the headrests and seats are stitched in Centenary Gold, adding to the sense of celebration. Function

The Bentley Mulsanne Key comes with two buttons one of which opens the trunk, and the other that starts the vehicle. The key also comes with a switch that allows you to turn on the parking brake. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors when parked in a tight space. This feature makes it easier to get into and out of your car.

Each key takes about two days to create. The key is cut by hand, then shaped, sewed, sealed, and then polished to create a high-end result. It is light and compact and matches the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is akin to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key, but it feels much heavier and has a premium feel.

Secure-A-Key is also available to protect against keyless entry theft. This device is inserted into the remote control key fob and disables it after a few minutes of inactivity, preventing thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can unlock and start the vehicle.

Bentley's distinctive design reflects the values of the company, which include fine craftsmanship engineering expertise and cutting-edge technologies. Its headquarters in Crewe are home to over 4,000 workers who are responsible for the design, development, and production of Bentley vehicles. These workers use skills that have been handed through generations and apply them to the latest in technology in the automotive industry. This is the characteristic of British manufacturing at its finest.

Personalisation

Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to create their own car. The "mood station" lets guests pick images that inspire them. These can be anything from scenic vistas and sporting events. After each selection is made, a pattern is created which shows the models and colors of the custom Bentley.

The configuration that is created is loaded onto individual R.F.I.D.-enabled key cards which are presented to the guests in a hand-crafted key case. The keys can be fitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps that illuminate the path of the door's opening. They are adorned with the owner's name or logo as they approach the vehicle.

Bentley estimates that it takes about 500 man-hours to build and assemble a Mulsanne. The unwillingness to embrace modern technology is the main factor to this time-consuming effort. The Crewe factory workers don't utilize a machine for arranging perfectly-matched leather seats. Instead they do it by hand. Drivers have to park their cars manually, not using sensors built-in to guide them into parallel and perpendicular spots.

At the event, Bentley presented its Mulliner personalization capabilities by presenting one of a kind that was the Mulsanne W.O. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays homage to founder William Osler Bentley. The limited-edition cars have 100 of them. a special key that displays a portion of the 1930 8 Litre's crankshaft.
